Private parking charge? See if you have grounds to appeal — before £100 becomes £170
Answer a few questions about the notice. We test it against the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and the parking industry's own Code of Practice and show the grounds that fit your facts. Free check; the ready-to-send appeal pack is £9.99.
What we check
- Was the Notice to Keeper delivered inside the statutory window (14 days by post; days 29–56 after a windscreen ticket)? If not, the keeper is not liable.
- Does the letter contain the wording Schedule 4 requires?
- Was the overstay inside the mandatory 10-minute grace period?
- Signage, keying errors, the £100 cap, add-on “debt recovery” fees, duplicate charges, Blue Badge duties, residential lease rights, Scotland & Northern Ireland (no keeper liability).
What we do not do
We are not solicitors and this is not legal advice. We do not predict or promise an outcome — the operator and then POPLA or the IAS decide on the evidence. We do not handle council Penalty Charge Notices (a different, statutory process). If your facts give limited grounds, we say so before you pay.
